About Us

Dumfries and Galloway Renewable Energy Partnership (DG-REP) was formed in March 2013 and is made up of public and private sector organisations from across the region that are involved or interested in renewable energy and energy efficiency.  

The key role and remit for Dumfries and Galloway Renewable Energy Partnership is to provide a central point of contact and a co-ordination of activities for all those with an interest in the development of all aspects of the renewable energy sector in the region.

Vision

The vision is to secure the maximum economic and employment benefits from the development of the renewable energy sector for the benefit of the region and its communities.

Key Targets

The key targets to be met by 2020 in Dumfries and Galloway are:

  • 10% Increase in Gross Value Added (GVA)
  • 1,000 jobs created or safeguarded in the Renewables Sector
